Simon Kleeman, Associate Director
Simon has over 20 years of experience in providing feasibility, design and project management expertise in the construction industry and has provided asset management advice to a number of high profile organisations.
Simon has extensive experience working across various industries ranging from schools, hospitals, housing (private and social), commercial, industrial, retail, leisure and defence sectors. In the successful delivery of these schemes he has had to balance expectations of both internal and external stakeholders whilst maintaining control of resource and costs.
In Simon’s career he has directly managed and been responsible for both individuals and multi-disciplinary teams of specialist consultants for a variety of client based commissions.
Outside of work Simon spends time with family and friends and enjoys getting into the great New Zealand outdoors both tramping and mounting biking. Simon is extremely keen to take up kite surfing as his next sport.

Craig Robertshaw, Senior Building Surveyor
Craig is a Registered Member of the New Zealand Institute of Building Surveyors and has several years experience in both the residential and commercial building sectors. He specialises in providing expert witness assistance in a range of construction disputes for a variety of plantiff and defendant parties.
Since moving to New Zealand from the UK in 2010, Craig has primarily been involved with defect investigations. Following his investigations, Craig is able to provide clear, well-reasoned advice to his clients regarding any remedial works which maybe required.
Craig has also carried out numerous pre-acquisition and schedule of condition surveys on a wide variety of properties. He is able to advise potential purchasers on the presence of significant defects and any potential maintenance/repair costs.
During his time in the UK, Craig enjoyed a varied role as a Building Surveyor in a leading global multi-disciplinary practice. His responsibilities included inspecting a wide range of buildings to report on compliance with disabled access and fire safety legislation, recommending works to upgrade buildings to a satisfactory standard. He also specialised in monitoring levels of dangerous radon gas within buildings and providing effective solutions to reduce concentrations to a safe level.
In his spare time Craig loves watching and playing football. His other passion is travel, both overseas and within New Zealand. Recently, Craig spent a year backpacking around the world which included a rather scary two months driving his own 4×4 through Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.
